- I applied to work as an English Teaching Assistant in France in the winter of 2008. In late spring, I found out I had been offered a post in Provence (yeah where all the lavender grows). In July 2008, I decided to accept the position, even though it didn't pay enough to live. At the end of September 2008, I moved to the town of Pertuis in the department of the Vaucluse in the region of Provence-Alps-Côte d'Azur in the country of France. And here I am, still living in France.
